Hi,

I don't know if this helps and it does not sound exactly like what I

had but it's a thought. Just before I got married, I broke out in

what we thought was ringworm (even the Doc) but the meds did no good

and they got worse fast. I looked it up in the Mayo clinic book. It

was a rash called (excuse the spelling in case I get it wrong)

Pitoriasis ica. I remembered I had it ten years before that as

well. They don't know what causes it (stress maybe, the Doctor said),

and there's no medication for it. It goes away in about 8 weeks.

Ultraviolet light helps too. Anyway, not sure this sounds quite the

same but thought it might help.

Hope your husband is getting better!

Do you mean Pityriasis Rosea?

If yes, here is a picture and description. I had this, too.

Just to let everyone know, we still don't know. ;-)

Today the hives have just grown so big they have connected in areas to be

one giant one. The ring is not as obvious as yesterday.

Do you mean Pityriasis Rosea?

No that is not what they look like. In my obsessive searching I read

something about hives from an allergic reaction and it does sound like that.

Does he have yeast?

How do I answer this without sounding like a frustrated wife?

Stubborn/denial. Let's just say, he did not go through the great plains lab

testing and work with a doctor that specializes in these tests. He did one

day make an appointment with a naturalist. I don't believe he is a doctor,

but anyway he took a small prick of blood and looked at it under a

microscope and told him no but suggested a few suppliments, cleansers and

stuff. That was months and $$$ ago and he never went back.

I'm really trying to let go of this and reminded my husband that this really

stresses me out that I can't help him beause I am not in control of what he

eats and what doctors and tests he chooses.

Tomorrow we start summer camp for the boys. I'm feeling horrible because

Josh ate almost a whole box of French Toast Crunch this week. He now has a

rash around his mouth and won't make eye contact without me jumping through

hoops and the time laps between question/answer is long if he even answers

me. This is a regression for sure. He was squealing and running in circles

today. Josh does have a yeast problem and we usually can keep it under

control with Probio gold, but this week I wasn't real good at giving it to

him and he every chance he got was sneaking sugar products from the cabinet.

He even at one point was caught with a spoon in the bag of sugar. Sigh!

I suspect the mouth rash is yeast related. sigh.

With all this, we start summer camp tomorrow with all new support staff and

I am terrified to leave him. Our behavioral consultant will be there most of

the time, but I'm still concerned. Also concerned about leaving my younger

son who is very high functioning Asperger and everyone thinks he is fine.

Until the explosion happens.

I've got a lot to let go of tonight. I'm trying some meditation (I reread

this quick and thought I wrote medication) and prayer in between cooking for

tomorrow.

Thanks again for everyone's tries at a guess.

Joyce
