Guest guest
That's interesting. About 13 years ago, I worked many years ago on woman's 12 step unit. Which generally treated women and teen girls for substance abuse, eating disorders, and depression. For folks with these disorders but particularly with substance abuse and eating disorders, the unit used an innovative approach incorporating diet. These folks were encouraged to go " refined flour free " At the time there there was research to support that relapses of drug or ETOH use or eating disorder behavior was linked to diet. I can't remember the exact rationale. It was interesting. It definitely helped some folks. I do remember things made organically and corn and potatoe being strongly encouraged. Thought I'd share Jeneane, Houston Nick 5 (NT) 3( PDD-NOs) Beth 2 (NT)
