I have no idea what he was > reacting to, but it was definitely something in Mc's food. > Donna > Donna - I just had 's today for lunch and I should warn you that I found a part of an onion ring in my fries. I have also found this at Burger King so we do not feed these to Vico. I live in Southern California and the 's I went to is in Westlake Village. I don't know if they are the same nation wide, but you must check with the manager at your local 's to make sure they don't mix the onion rings or chicken nuggets in with the french fries. Perhaps your son has a problem with corn since I think Mac's fries are made in corn oil. Just thought I would give you the warning about 's. Also - if you have an In-and-Out burger near you their french fries are fine (they don't make nuggets or onion rings) but the hamburger patties are NOT ok since they toast the buns on the same grill as the patties. Sorry this is so hard, keep working at it, it could be extremely helpful to your child. Guest guest
I thought I was going to be able to stay out of this one because we've been over it several times before, but here goes. Mcs' claims their fries are cfgf and also claims to have a dedicated fryer and oils for fries only in all of their stores. My sister manages several Mcs' in Ohio and she backs up the claim about dedicated fryers and oils. (at least in the stores that she manages) Anyway, we have a little boy who comes down with the most horrible green diarrhea and foul belches when the slightest infraction occurs. He eats Mcs fries fairly regularly and has never had that reaction. Also, since my sister manages the stores, we purchase the fries frozen in bulk and fry them at home in our fryer that has never seen gluten and he chows those just like the ones we get at the restaurants. As a matter of fact we had them this evening. What's so strange about kids liking Mcs' fries? I see plenty of nt kids chowing on them (including my own) whenever I go there.
