H.J. in his new text " Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic " , briefly gives on page 428: Infertility: The issue of aspartame-associated infertility was initially minimized. This attitude had to be revised in the face of striking evidence thereof-- most notably, pregnancy among previously infertile couples in whom at least one spouse had aspartame disease. For example, a female aspartame reactor had been unable to conceive for ten years while drinking diet colas. After avoid all aspartame products, she became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy boy. The matter of aspartame-induced premature menopause was raised: A 31-year-old woman had been on a fertility program for considerable time without success. She consumed 2-3 liters of diet sodas daily for over eight years. When increased doses of of fertility drugs prove ineffective, coupled with a high FSH level, the diagnosis of " early menopause " was made. The concept that aspartame constitutes an " endocrine disrupting chemical " was mentioned earlier. Some suspect that aspartame has contributed to the continuing decline of sperm counts over the past two decades. The observation of testicular atrophy among animals in the Bressler Report (Chapter XXVII) is relevant.
