I do see unusual behavior and sometimes can not tell if its progress

or not. We have only been on the diet 11 weeks now

is ordinarily irritable most of time but after the 1st

2weeks on the diet we saw an improvement on the diet in her mood, her

compliance with following directions, speech and socialability. She

was also in school then. School let out a month later and although

she was in summer session it is not same intensity or folks.

Plus we believe she had a diet infringement about 3wks ago. So now

we are seeing more irritable behavior, less potty training, more

noncompliance and acting out. It is hard to tell what is going on.

She's most irritable when bored.

Plus I believe she has more problems with food but I don't have a DAN

appt until Jan 2002. How do folks figure this out or move forward

when you are on multiple waiting lists.

I wait for appts. I wait for ABA consultants. I wait for

assessments.I am waiting to see if a charity group will adopt her

treatment. Even if money grew on trees I'd still have to wait.

I wait for her taste buds to change so she will eat more foods. I do

bake but she is attached to her old foods such as fries, corn pasta,

gluten free pretezels etc.

Sometimes I feel as if I am not making any progress at all. Just

venting.
