Guest guest
Hi Everyone: was diagnosed RSS late last year by a geneticist. She was seen by her ped at her 4 year visit last December. She was seen by an endo in February 2004 who said come back in 6 months and we will track her in the mean time get her blood work done and if you like contact Dr. Harbison. She is scheduled to see her endo in NJ in December and we are waiting for a call from Dr. H's office as to when she will be seeing new patients. In July 2004 she was seen by her ped and they did a physical. was 29 pounds and just under 37 inches. She has since had her blood work done. The pediatrician office called me and said it was normal. When the blood work was done the endo was on vacation and is now back but has not called me about it. OK enough finally the question: I was wondering should I be taking to her ped's office to have them track her weight and height or no I just wait for my next endo appointment or the next time she is at the ped's office? The week before last we were so lucky had a few days of eating really well. In fact, I thought one day she was going to get sick because for her she seemed to have been eating alot. Of course, I just let her keep going. And of course this week she's deciding to eat the very bare minimum. Every night at dinner this week she's getting in a third of what she usually does and then tells me her stomach hurts. But I just don't know if I just wait for the next appointment or should I be taking her to the peds office for weight checks? Thanks everyone - you are all so great and helpful. Guest guest
I don't have answer to your question, but I wanted to ask you what your treatment is so far. Is on GHT yet? You go to Dr Silverman. I go to Starkman, his colleague. Dr. Starkman wants to start GHT for my son at our next visit in Oct. I am also waiting for Dr. H to start taking new patients to get a " consult " . Looks like your Dr S asked you to see Dr. H. My endo gave me a different take on it. Will let you know by e-mail, privately. Why do you have to wait until Dec to meet your endo? -Malathi > Hi Everyone: > > was diagnosed RSS late last year by a geneticist.
