Hi:-)

Since Dr H is not Lic in IL she will be unable to RX in IL. Please take

notes of what she suggests and/or she may write it down for you. Bring your

pediatrician's phone number because there are times when she thinks

something is urgent that she may call your pediatrician right then and

there. See you at the convention.

FYI....You do not need a prescription for Peptamen, Jr., so if Dr.

H. recommends it, you can get it right away. As for writing

prescriptions, Dr. H. can write them but only for those patients

that she sees in NYC. Last year Max needed some medication for a

urinary infection and she wrote the scrip right away. (Poor Pattie

Warren had to drive all over the place to get it filled for me. I

owe her BIG time this year!!!)

I had asked Liam's Ped about Peptamen, Jr when he was 15 months old (We have

a different Ped. now) but she said that " insurance would not cover it for

his type of feeding issues, it's expensive and she would not give me a

script for it. " .....So, I thought you needed a script for it.

Hi ,

Just looked up peptamen jr on Ebay of all places. Someone is selling

10 cases (240 cans) for starting bid of $100 with only 2 days to go.

The item # is 4311515550

Ebay is a odd place to sell and buy formula but they almost always

have the expensive kinds.

I have been buying Liam's Enfimal next step on E-bay for a few weeks now...

It is normaly $22. a can for the 24 oz powder, here I can only get the 24 oz

can they don't sell the 12 oz at stores near me, even though they do make

it...

The most I have paid so far for it with shipping is $14.02 for the 24 oz

powder...........

Thanks for looking and I will keep it in mind, but I am not going to switch

him unless Dr. H suggests it. Which at the rate he is eating and the fact he

is loosing weight, I think she will.

When I had him on Carnation instant Breakfast he was maintaining at least. I

switched him (per my peds suggestion) because of the sugar in the

Carnation.. but now he has been on the formula for about a month and has

been loosing weight....

Hi ,

Our GI doctor wrote a prescription for Peptamen JR. for our son

Braeden when he was 12 months old (He is still on it and strictly G-

tube fed). We needed the prescription so our insurance company

would pay for it. We are fortunate all of his feeding supplies are

100% covered by our insurance policy. I would check with your

insurance company and see if they will cover the cost.

Take care and good luck,

Saundra Mom to Braeden (RSS, 28 1/2 inches, 21 pounds) and Delaney

22 month twins
