Guest guest
Actually, I'm not surprised at the 3 month waiting period to see an Endo. We've always been lucky with (if you want to call it that! LOL) He was hospitalized so much his first year, that whenever a new specialist was needed, he was hooked up right away. But I've heard of others that have had to wait 9+ months to get their first visit with an Endo! Guest guest
The only reason we did not have to wait the 3 months was because Liam's thyriod Levels were VERY high... I was told it is normally a 3 to 5 month wait.... Even with an established patient, If I want to change his appointment I can not because they book 3 months out....Same thing with Liam's Neuro...Liam was having seizures and I STILL had to wait 3 months even with the EEG report!! (The doctor himself when I got in was NOT happy about that and said we should have been seen sooner)..... Mom to Liam (3 1/2 years old 34 3/4 " 27 lbs SGA / possible RSS, Hypothyriod, Epilepsy.)
