American Girl Store

Hey guys --

For those of you going to the convention, anyone want to try and hit

the American Girl Store Saturday afternoon after the RSS Pool

Party? My daughter has been begging me. The problem is that I end

up working every hour of every day at the convention, and

especially gets really mad. She has been begging me to take a

couple hours off and take her to the American Girl store. Hoping I

can get down there and back in 3+ hours. Just wondering if anyone

else wanted to go with their little girl.

Just in case you can't get to the one in Chicago, there is now an

American Girl store in NYC. You can always promise a trip

there when you see Dr. H. Then you can be there longer.

We will be making our second annual trip to the American Girl store

this year. Between the dancing, socializing, field trip and the

shopping trip I'm not sure our girls, 9, , 6 (both

non RSS) even know we are attending a medical convention. MAGIC

does a fantastic job of making this a family event - thanks to all

involved who may be reading this. We went right after the party

last year, seemed to be a good time to go. Three hours should be

plenty, there is a bit of sensory overload associated with the

experience. We most likely will be going the same time this year

though we are staying overnight Saturday so we wouldn't have the

same time limitations. Maybe we can discuss it there. See ya in
