Guest guest
You know, Betty, I keep trying to convince myself that these people mean well. But it just seems people don't care enough to really listen, and don't respect anyone enough to trust that they just may know their own child. Evan's grandfather is missing out, and he probably will never acknowledge his loss. Luckily Evan has others who love him, so he won't miss out. You and your husband are the best grandparents! Guest guest
I wish that were true, but this sister-in-law has a 2.5 yo with severe allergies, and who appears to me to be ASD. She doesn't get the allergy problem unless his reaction is immediate and severe (difficulty breathing, swelling, passing out). And I'm afraid she is not equipped to deal with ASD anymore than allergies. Lolita I think there IS a reason these people do not have them! ...-Shari
