I wouldn't say never but depending on how old they are...well, wait 10 years or so ;-) Actually, I'm serious! Guest guest
Thanks for the positive feedback . :-) I am going to repost a briefer version of my initial query to Elaine's attention tomorrow just to double check for some medical perspective, but from what I learned in a conversation with one of the people down at the shop it doesn't appear that there is anything that could act as a negative trigger and turn up the volume on my Graves. I've been thinking long and hard about where exactly on my body to do this. It's going to be private, between me and my hubby, and it's got to be stretch-mark free....so that narrows my choices down quite a bit. I sure don't want the dang thing getting tweaked by my skin expanding and contracting! LOL Did the ankle one hurt much? I've heard that the foot area is pretty painful. But if I like how my first one comes out, I've been considering getting some sort of chain around one of my ankles as well. I wear socks most of the time, so it wouldn't be on display all the time either. We are all safe and sound from the fires right now. Thank goodness. I know of so many who aren't and my heart aches for them. Such a tragedy I know will remain on all our minds for a long time after the fires are quenched. Thanks again for the help. I'll let everyone know how it all works out for me and my tattoo. the other x_consentida_x wrote: - I have 2 tatoos one on my ankle and one around my belly button (in retrospect that wasn't the greatest idea.. got HUGE when I was pregnant.. but I was lucky w/ no stretch marks.. and it has gone back to normal formation) I hope that you and your loved ones are safe!! Guest guest
I have a high pain tollerance.. (I didn't take anything when I delivered my son) So, No it did not hurt.. but the tatoo guy I go to actually does the tatoos of other tatoo artists and is well published. So.. he is really nice about it all.. I have known others that said it hurts - when it is close to the bone it does feel different. Basically it feels like someone is scraping a few razor blades across the skin.. (that's the best way I can describe it) and to be honest the one on my stomach , especially the lower part, stung more than the one on the ankle. I had the same reserves where it has to be something I can hide if needed.. I work w/ children.. and do not feel it is appropriate for me as a teacher to have tatoos all over where the kids can see.. socks and dark tights hid the one on the ankle.
