Hi ,

Sorry to hear you've joined the belly-scar club, although it sounds like the

improvements in surgical and recuperative techniques since I had mine out in

the '60's are wonderful. I was made to lie in bed a week, and couldn't even

stand straight after that!

The discussion has indeed seemed to burn out for the moment--I think we are

all glad of it, too. Much more interesting to get back to being helpful.

Personally, I'm looking forward to your having some computer time, although

the 8-month-old might resent it.

Best to you in your recovery,

Terry

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Sounds like you have a lot of good

support around you, which must be a relief.

I was in bed with a compressed disc (disk?) for 10 days on doctor's

orders with a six month old, who wasn't that curious yet so she stayed on

my bed alot of the time.
