We have used both the pen and the syringe for gh. I think that

using the syringe has been the best option for Max. Actually, a

combination of the two is what we use - we mix the gh with the

cartridge for the pen, but draw up the gh into a syringe for

administering it. (Max does all of this now and I keep forgetting

the dose! Dr. H. would not be happy about my not knowing....) He

then uses the injectease with the syringe and it does not hurt as

much. The needle shoots in faster, therefore it hurts less.
