Guest guest
I noticed almost all, if not all, of our children have this problem. I noticed since being gfcf that this is actually brought on by other foods. When he gets gluten or casein he becomes violent. The crankiness shows up when he gets any artificial colors or flavors. He is almost on a completely white diet which I'm not sure how healthy it is, but he sure is a much nicer person. I gave him some Jif peanut butter and he went wild with crying and being irritable. He is not allergic to peanuts and doesn't go crazy with natural peanut butter, so the only connection I can make is the flavoring. Guest guest
The Feingold diet deals with with. They point out that the articifial stuff and some additives are petroleum based and some people have a very difficult time processing this. Also, phenols can be hard to process. Look into the sulfur transferase issue if phenols appear to be a problem. And the Feingold site may have some ideas for helping process the petroleum based things besides complete avoidance. . > I noticed almost all, if not all, of our children have this problem.
