Hi yhen, my son only drinks Vances Dari-free. It is a potato based

beverage. I also use it for all my baking. You can order it online

directly from them

DariFree #

Too free order #1-

Web: www.abersoldfoods.com offers 5% discount (this is taken

from a file I kept in a folder here on my computer, so I don't know if

discount still applies)

DariFree

However, I get mine from my local HFS or also Miss Robens carries it in

her catalog. Call 1- to get a catalog (really great products

for this diet), or go online at www.missroben.com

on Long Island New York

Thank's ! I will visit both websites ASAP. It sounds very

interesting. Hopefully, my son will like it. How does it taste

compared to the whole milk?

yhen,

ok, the best way that I could describe the taste is that it taste like a

vanilla milk shake that you let sit around and unfreeze itself.

Make sure that you follow directions and make it with ROUNDED

measurements into HOT water and then fill with cold. If you skimp on the

powder or don't use hot it won't be thicky and goody. (how's that for 2

new words- thicky and goody?)

Now I was really hoping that my girls would like darifree but they didn't.

So I use it for cooking. But they love Pacific brand non-dairy plain lowfat

rice milk! It is so great! It is gfcf and has acidophilus and bifidulus.

I buy it by the case at our hfs. Give it a try before you send off for

darifree...IMHO. H

Thank's ! I will try them. I was trying to order just the sample

packet of the Darifree from their website but it wouldn't let me. I

tried calling them too, but no one was there. Can I just get the

Pacific rice milk at a local store or it has to be a HFS?

Sometimes I can find it at my local grocery store but it is a little more

money. You know, I started with the Pacific Rice non-dairy milk vanilla

flavored. I told the girls it was a milkshake! :o) They loved it! Then

I began slowly diluting it with the plain Pacific rice milk (no vanilla).

Now they drink the plain just fine. I use low fat because they need some

fat. Pacific also makes a non-fat version. I don't know if the vanilla

flavored version is ok but was afraid to risk it. LOL! This diet can make

you crazy!

Hugs, H, mommy to 3.5 yrs, PDD; and 2 yrs, NT, 10 weeks

gfcf.
