Guest guest
Fay, Yes, it's on and off kind of fidgety-ness. Fun stuff. Comes and goes. Basically I'm getting my tests tomorrow, so when I find out, I hope I can shed some light on all of this. Yours and everybody's help has been awesome! Dan > Hi Dan (I hope). Is this magnesium deficiency something that goes back to normal as normal health is regained or that it's necessary to take magnesium? I do take mag. and I just got calcium with a higher proportion of mag than I used to take. Or do you mean Restless Leg? Would you recommend testing for magnesium? i'm still trying to put the pieces together myself. My Restless Leg has gotten a bit better, maybe. My insomnia's worse, but I'm not aware of shaking myself awake, as I had been doing. I'm hoping to get in for a physical with the practice I'd like to go to sooner than November, meanwhile I'm on my own trying to make sense of my sleeping. Disclaimer for anyone who's reading this and thinking, see, she took Tapazole and things still aren't rosy with her: True, I'm not sleeping well but I doubt it's thyroid related since I not only have no other physical symptoms but I also have an excellent sense of perspective and a fairly decent mood. (Not that I won't get thyroid testing.) My thyroid levels have been excellent and stable the last two years, I walk two miles a day a few times a week, and get more than a minimum of housework done. So I'm pretty happy with how things are. I should also mention that I've always had daytime, painless, bouncy leg. It's a family thing. Put me, my father and brothers in the same room and we'll all be bouncing soon enough. I can live with that too. Take care, Fay (on Tapazole from 6.00 - 8.01, in remission since) ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Guest guest
I am still not sure what restless legs is...whether its thyroid related or magnesium deficiency....I heard about the magnesium and to take include it in the 'vitamin and mineral regime'....also calcium..... I am wondering though...is their pain associated with it?....My asking is cause i kind of have the same thing...i chalked it up to nerves...but now i have pain in both knees...charlie horses in my shins....and my thighs twitch.....I don't know what to think.....My GP says that the Graves is weakening my bones and muscles...thu the pain.... maybe someone can help me out with an understanding.....
