Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone can give me your experience. My son

is 5 and has been cf since August of last year. The only difference

we noticed after him being CF was that he had the first formed stools

and wasn't gassy anymore. He has been GF since January of this year

and we still have yet to notice any difference in him. Our insurance

wasn't willing to help with any tests and we just haven't been able

to afford to take him to a DAN Doctor or pay for the tests on our

own. I have been very closely watching what he eats and I know that

he hasn't gotten anything he shouldn't have. We were able to get his

MMR shots split up so that we didn't have to worry about that, but we

just are wondering if he had any problems in the first place. Before

we started, he didn't really drink a lot of milk or want cheese or

other dairy products, and when we took him off of gluten, he didn't

act too much like he cared except every once in a while he'd ask for

Cheerios or pizza, but that was about it. We are seriously thinking

of taking him off of the diet and just don't know what to do

especially since we haven't got a doctor to talk to. You all have

been our source of support and information...along with some great

books. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd love to hear from

you.

Judy
