Almost immediately it will absorb and form a thick paste so shut the heat off and remove from stove. As soon as you can get it cool enough to touch smear this on hotdogs (I use Applegate brand - and I dry them off real good first so that the paste sticks) It is real messy and takes a little practice to get it covered good. I keep running my hands under cold water to try and form a perfect cover onto the dogs. I deep fry them till they look nice. WARNING - this is messy but gets easy with practice and they taste GREAT! in New York HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!! * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
I bet the recipe that denise just posted for batter would work beautifull, just coat a hot dog and drop in deep fryer. Guest guest
No, but I was thinking of using the cornbread recipe, watered down a little. Then fry in hot deep fryer. If you try it before me, let me know. Otherwise I'll post my results. Lolita >Anyone ever developed a recipe for a corn dog?
