Guest guest
Oh Mandi! Aidan is PRECIOUS!!!! What a beautiful little boy! Congratulations! Shari WLS 8/99 Mommy to Cadence 4/19/04 Another new baby Hey guys. I'm back home from the hospital after having our newest addition to the family. I had Aidan on Wednesday August 4 at 8:26 a.m. Everything went well with the delivery (a scheduled C-section) and he is happy and healthy. I'm slightly prejudiced, but I think he's awfully cute. I feel well, but developed a seroma the first day postop and my incision opened back up. I'm having someone come out and pack it twice a day. I really think it's probably because of my pannus and all of this extra skin. Unfortunately a C-section scar is right in the middle of where it all folds over. On an awesomely bright note, when I got pregnant I was 186, when I went to the hospital Wednesday I was 213. This morning I was 190! Woohoo! I've lost 23 pounds of my pregnancy gain in 5 days!! Hopefully after a couple of weeks I might even be smaller than I was before pregnancy. I'm back in my regular clothes already! <Big SMILE> Here's a link for the website where you can see Aidan's pictures if you're curious. Hope everyone else is doing well. http://www.growingfamily.com/webnursery/babypage.asp?UrlID=1Y0J5F0Z8Z Please use the following password to access the page: 1091885169 Take care, Mandi in Concord, NC Post op Distal RNY 09/23/02 316/190 today (186 prepregnancy)/165 (one of these days if the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise) Mom to (10), Chad (7), (5), and now Aidan 5 whole days! Guest guest
Hello Steph, Congratulations!! I've been wondering if you'd had your baby yet. I meant to send you a message way back in August, and I am still getting around to it. (You can't rush these things!) Good to hear from you again. ne In RSS-Support , " Steph " <skashau@y...> wrote: > > Hello all... it has been several centuries since I posted a message, > have just been unable to keep up with kids, work and life in general > getting in the way of even turning the computer on more than once a > week, so apologies.... > > Have had a baby girl to add to the troop, Rowan Shayne, born 10 days > early on 14th Oct a whopping 3.7kg (8lb4)!!! after a rapid, intense 2- > hour labour. Guest guest
congrats on the new baby and great growth on your other onr cara mom to jacob Steph wrote: Hello all... it has been several centuries since I posted a message, have just been unable to keep up with kids, work and life in general getting in the way of even turning the computer on more than once a week, so apologies.... Have had a baby girl to add to the troop, Rowan Shayne, born 10 days early on 14th Oct a whopping 3.7kg (8lb4)!!! after a rapid, intense 2- hour labour. She is just adorable, and of course perfect in every way just like her elder siblings, who are both adjusting to the new addition very well. Darcy turns 5 in a couple of weeks, currently something like 97cm 12kg (erm, I think that was 38 " 26lb...) and starting school in February (on schedule). Has had his last scheduled hypospadias surgery, and everything is going really well. Have been working with school, kinder and early intervention to figure out whether he needs any particular equipment, or modifications because of his size & hand ('lobster claw' malformation on his dominant hand) - and fortunately so far haven't met any brick walls. On the pluses, his kinder teacher has been very impressed with Darcy's confidence and his assertive management of situations where the kids occasionally (inadvertantly) call him " little Darcy " , which he doesn't like, as he associates " little " with " baby " .... well, he is my baby, not sure I'm really quite ready to let him grow up even with a new baby in the house! Love to all... sorry I'm such a klutz at keeping in touch Steph
