Guest guest
That is very interesting . Evan stayed in a crib longer than any of my daughter's other children. At the time they had 5 children in a two bedroom home. His, hers and their baby. Evan spent a lot of time in the crib because he would wander off if some of the older kids left the door open and they had no fence. Makes me wonder if this is another piece to the puzzle. Guest guest
I forwarded his email on to the group this evening. Here are links to sites where you can read about the SIDS (Cot Death as they call it in New Zealand and Great Britain). http://www.pnc.com.au/~cafmr/sprott/ http://www.criblife2000.com/ I've spoken to both of these doctors today. Dr. Sprott is the scientist who said that these poisons can lead to autism. Dr. (criblife2000) is an ER doctor who sells protective covers for crib mattresses. You can get info. on how to order from his site. He's shipping me one on Monday. I spoke to him briefly today, but he was on a cell phone that was cutting out so he's going to call me back tomorrow. He said that his main concern now is about the children who live through the poisoning and are affected as our children are. He said that once the SIDS community (and when the confirmation is there, the autism community) recognizes this as the cause of all of these SIDS deaths and cases of autism, it will be just like when they discovered all of the children who had been poisoned by lead, with recalling all of the blinds, and alerting everyone to check the paint in their houses. , it would be interesting to see what the antimony and arsenic levels are on your children. Have you done hair testing? We did ours through Doctor's Data, and it's only about $45, and most insurance will cover it. Both of these doctors were very helpful, happy to talk with me. Their phone numbers are on their sites. --- " , Myrd & girls " wrote: > , please send me this info! My girls both > sleep on crib mattresses in > toddler beds! Yikes! Guest guest
, What a great investigator you are!!! I'm very interested in what you find out. My twins slept in the same crib for several months, (son -PDD & daughter-NT). We borrowed a crib mattress and bought a new one, also. I can't remember which one of the two actually ended up sleeping on the used one when they went to their own cribs....wish I would have paid attention now. They just went from cribs to twin beds in April of this year. We bought new mattresses and something called a bunkie board to use in place of the box springs (wanted them closer to the floor - and the bunkie board is what is used on a bunk bed). I questioned the saleslady about the chemicals in the new bedding and she said they (mfg's) cannot make products without the flame retardant chemicals. I wrapped my son's mattress and bunkie board in an allergen zip cover and his pillow in an allergen zip cover, too. His sister just had a plastic mattress cover, but they are still in the same room. Two months later I could still smell the chemicals, and they have been sick, sick, sick......cold/cough/ear infections from h-ll that will not go away (my son has not been sick with anything like this in a year, ever since he went GFCF. We tried traditional meds, alternative meds...I even took (still am) the twins to a Registered Massage Therapist who is doing cranial sacral therapy on them, as well as some drainage massage. This has really been a rough couple of months.....two toddlers sick at the same time for soooooo long......I haven't slept much either, ugh!!! Two weekends ago, we took the bunkie boards out of their room and I then put a plastic zip cover and an allergen zip cover on both mattress' and pillow covers, too. Well, the cough, runny nose and ear infections are going away........co-inky-dink? I don't know. I do know that my son's hair testing for heavy metals showed high antimony....as soon as we have him chelating (had to post-pone due to all the illness stuff, put plan on starting this weekend), then I'm going to test my NT daughter.......I bet she's high in it, too. I think it just manifests itself differently in her. Minor skin problems, and she's so BOSSY, lol........just kidding on that one....that's just typical (almost) 3 yr old attitude, I think. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks, and can't wait to see what Dr. Sprott has to say about how to minimize the exposure.
