Guest guest
Hi Carole, If your daughter's eyes tend to hurt, there's a big chance she does have the eye component of Graves', which usually calls for a " baseline " check by an eye doctor experienced with it. Even if your daughter's doctors don't believe she has TED, can you get a referral to an eye doctor (maybe say you want to rule out any other eye problems since they're sure it's not TED)? Splitting the carbimazole into two doses should help your daughter feel better by making the effects more even. As far as your question about a missed dose, my guess is you'd be better off giving her the missed pill when you remember rather than skipping it. Best wishes, B.
