Friends,

My name is Ron Isaacson, and I'm a student at the University of

Pennsylvania. I am working with Dr. Harvey Winston, a researcher and

professor in the Department of Psychology. We are investigating a

possible connection between ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity

Disorder) and a condition known as Fragile-X Autism.

We have discovered that these two conditions share many common

behaviors, and without medical testing, it is often difficult for

psychologists to distinguish between them when making a diagnosis. We

believe that these conditions may be somehow related. The goal of our

research is to develop new tools which will help professionals

diagnose and treat these conditions.

If you or your child suffers from ADHD, Fragile-X Autism, or another

behavioral condition or learning disorder which may be related, we

invite you to take a simple online survey. The survey is 100%

anonymous; you do not need to submit any information about yourself.

Our system will ask you a series of yes/no questions about reactions

and behaviors. Then we will combine all of the responses we receive

and look for patterns. At no time will we release the results of

individual surveys.

Taking our short survey is an easy way for you to contribute to

important research being conducted right now. The more we know about

these conditions, the better chance we have of learning how to keep

ourselves and our children healthy.

If you would like more information, or if you would like to take the

survey, please visit us at http://www.ljits.com/survey.

Thank you very much,

Ron Isaacson and Harvey Winston
