Here is my point.

Well, I have a lot of points, but I am not going to get into a debate with

you because it is pointLESS, especially since you think that the people over at

the site you suggest are " open minded " . Taking RAI and going out to eat right

after (AND LAUGHING ABOUT IT) is not open minded. Taking RAI on the way to

work at a campground with no vacancies is not open minded. That is what I call

reckless.

I digress...

RAI can and does cause and worsen TED. Each and every patient who is being

told by their doctor that they need RAI should also be told of

contraindications, relative or absolute. It is called informed consent. I was

not warned by

my doctor, even when I asked him. It is my mission to be sure that patients

don't have to walk a mile in my moccasins, because I am in the 5%, and it has

caused me so much pain, physically and especially emotionally.

I would suggest you go to the NGDF, where RAI is recommended as a safe

treatment option for Graves Disease. Do some reading there, and see how many

posts

you read about TED.

God bless,

My G-d, can we move on, please? I am so stressed out by these e-mails

already. YOU'RE RIGHT, Liang, OK? Is that what you want to hear? Sheesh.

Now let's all have a nice weekend, and if anyone needs help, please let's

hear from you.

I was thinking of going to digest because it might be easier

on the nerves and I don't think those of us dealing with GD

need for more nerve-wracking gunk in our lives, we

manufacture enough of our own <smile>.

Yes, everyone have a great weekend. I am going over to

change my mail options and set it for relaxation.
