Also, how old is your child? Both of mine have gone through stages

where they love the sound of themselves screeching.

Now this may sound silly-but are her ears plugged up? she may actually be

louder if she is having a temporary type hearing loss-many kids with hearing

problems just dont realize how loud they are because they can not hear well.

Dont know about the SNT or the preservatives but hearing loss did come to

mind- you know some high does of vitamins can cause a buzzing in the

ear-that might also be an explanation-but I can not right now remember which

vitimins can couse this-sorry. F

I believe our childrens sensory issues can carry into this arena where they

are unaware of noise moderation. Seen this often amongst neurologically

challenged children or those with sensory issues. Dont monitor or modulate

their voices and noise production. Sensory related...,

I'll try this.

If it's something she's intolerant to, it's something she's getting at home.

I know they've started using playdoh in her ABA program, but this isn't her

usual gluten reaction.

I think ADD may be part of the problem. It does seem to increase if we're

not paying attention to her. Don't know what we can do about that one.

We had this done early last year. Hearing normal.

Yes My son has trouble modulating his voice . Can be loud. I usually try to

use my own voice to guide him. When he is loud I speak softly and tell

hiim this is how he needs to speak , as well. He is much better lately.

My son used to talk very loudly, it sounded like he was shouting all the time

but it wasn't until recently that he started to talk in a normal tone. We've

been on the diet now for over a year and he is 6 years old and it's taken

this long to get him to talk softly.

*It is possible that it could be a withdrawal from the sausage with

BHA and BHT.

*It could be that your DD is getting something that she's intolerant

too which could increase sensory problems perhaps even look to see if

it's coming from a source other than home.

*Also consider ADD might be part of the problem-does your DD get

louder when she's talking to you and somebody is standing close by- as

if she wants all to hear what she is saying.

*It could be hearing impairment, have your DD's hearing checked in a

testing booth at a clinic, My DH is very loud he has dx'd bi-lateral

deafness, my DD is also loud i suspect her hearing loss is increasing

gradually.

hope this helps, good luck with finding the reason

Best wishes,

Margaret.
