Hi ,

The PTU is your best bet for lowering the antibodies (TPO-Ab, TSI, etc.).

Also, avoiding triggers, such as stress, iodine, cigarette smoke,

flavorings (MSG, etc.), artificial sweeteners (aspartame), refined sugars,

saturated fats, immune system stimulators (echinacea, zinc, etc.) and

anything else that you find triggers you in particular.

I didn't find NMT helpful; perhaps it was my practitioner. Different people

have different experiences, from what I gather.

Keep looking for an endo who will treat you with ATDs. You may have luck by

calling different MD offices. My endo is " eh " (overdosed and undermonitored

me), but at least he doesn't have a problem in treating me according to my

choice, ATDs.

I believe you should not expect to get a goiter if your thyroid levels (FT3

and FT4) are in range. I have not heard of eye problems being associated

with elevated TPO-Ab or Thyroglobulin Ab.

Congrats on having your child at 45! What vitamins/minerals did you find

helpful while pregnant? I am taking NataChew, as I am planning a pregnancy.
