Guest guest
Has anyone had their child eating the banana skins? Any time I give Evan a banana, i have to peel it and throw away the skin or he will eat that also. Sometimes first. I am been wondering if that is a sign that I should not give any at all to him. If I make that decision I'll have to quit buying them because he is pretty good about finding ways to get into everything. Betty
Guest guest
Betty, does this and also orange or pear peelings. I have to wrap them up and take them to the outside garbage or use the disposer to get rid of them or he will dig them out of the garbage. Who knows why! Guest guest
Betty, Could this be a pica due to a vitamin deficiency? > Betty, > does this and also orange or pear peelings. Guest guest
Evan dug the banana skins out once this weekend and I also buried them. Sometimes it is out of sight out of mind although his memory is usually very good about where I put something that he wants. Evan does not like the apple peeling so much, in fact just got where he would eat them on his apple slices. he does not mess with the orange peelings either. Just the banana peelings. I was wondering if this has something to do with bananas not being good for some of our kids. I do not know what kind of vitamin deficiency he might have that he would be after banana peels. Potassium? Betty ----- Original Message ----- > Betty, > Could this be a pica due to a vitamin deficiency? > > > > > Betty, > > does this and also orange or pear peelings. Guest guest
Hi Kassie will eat the banana peels, too. I do seem to vaguely remember doing it myself, though! Margaret
