NO. He is not a reproductive endo. He is simply a high-risk doc. I think that he is very good, but I also think that it would be pretty difficult to know absolutely everything about every high risk situation that can arise in a pregnancy. Also, having dealt with a few endos myself and reading the various posts about scary endos, we obviously know not all of them can lay claim to having a lot of knowledge on the situation either! 2. Actually both my doctors think that I need to up my dosage. But, like I pointed out, my ob/gyn has little, if any, knowledge of Graves and the other one is not a specialist. 3. My symptoms are improving. I have been feeling a lot more level headed since going back on the meds, which is great for everyone involved!! I really appreciate you all taking time to answer my questions. It really means a lot to me to have a place like this that I can go and get some good information and just some compassionate advice. I feel like I need to trust my gut on this one and keep my meds where they are now. I really don't want to provoke either of my doctors, but I think that if they are patient, they will come to see that we can work through this together. I put I's name in the headline because I was told that she could maybe give me some good insight. But another question for anyone...how fast should these numbers be moving anyway? I am actually quite fearful of going hypo while pregnant. I have not been hypo before and do not have any desire to be! Thanks again for all of your help and time!
