I have ordered some GFCF food (buns, doughnuts and

bread), how long do these keep in the freezer and HOW

do you get the hamburger buns to not come out hard as

a rock thawing out. They were like rocks when I tried

to thaw. The bread is okay if I let it sit out for a

couple of hours since my son hates the texture of

toast.

thanks.

I put the hamburger and hot dog rolls in the fridge overnight then I

toast them in the toaster or I put them in the microwave for 10 seconds. The

kids love them.

I also take the time and freeze vacuum seal bags with two pieces of

bread or two rolls and that cuts down on separating them and dethawing time.

Hope this is helpful.

I find that the Ener-g buns are very hard, and Kinnikinnick's are slightly

hard. Microwaving for about 15-20 seconds seems to help. Also, I find that

Cybro's silver dollar buns are by far the softest, but they are crumbly.

You can't have your cake and eat it too with breads on this diet. You

either get hard, or crumbly. I had to laugh watching my son eat his burger

the other night. He was eating an Ener-g bun, and struggled to widen his

mouth to fit both the bun and burger in. He got about half way through, and

gave up. He ate the top bun, than the meat, and lastly, the bottom bun.
