Guest guest
Hi Tonya, Do you test Aubrey's blood sugar on a regular basis?? I was wondering if this could be a result of rising insulin levels causing more frequent hypo-g type episodes?? A sudden drop in BS, or a quick rise, can cause adverse behavior in , and as I understand it, GH can affect insulin levels. Jenn S, what do you think?? Guest guest
Absolutely. Although I'm not sure it would happen after 3 weeks? I had written Tonya privately, but Pat brings up a good point. Aubrey - have you tried giving snacks literally every 60 minutes??? Rotate them so they aren't all complex carbs. But try snacks every 60 minutes for one week, and see if her behavior changes. > Hi Tonya, > > Do you test Aubrey's blood sugar on a regular basis?? Guest guest
I don't know if the GH can cause these effects in 3 weeks, but has only been on GH for 3 months, and we got a call from the endo's office here yesterday telling us that we need to lower his GH from 6 units to 5 units because of something in his blood test results. I have no idea what they saw, but basically they scoffed at Dr H's concerns about his IGF, Insulin, and Testosterone levels, in relation to insulin resistance and premature adrenarche, with the first blood tests. And when we went for the last visit, they weren't concerned that has increased body odor, and left me with the impression that they wouldn't do anything about premature adrenarche until B sprouts pubic hair, so I can only assume that this has more to do with his Insulin levels. And it's only been 3 months! Any ideas anyone??? Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 34 months, 23.9#, 32.2 " , G-Tube)

Guest guest
Hi Debbie No! I was saying that the endo here doesn't seemed concerned with any of the other signs of premature adrenarche, other than pubic hair. doesn't even have peach fuzz currently, thank goodness!!
