Your whole message was beautiful, and I really like when I see the Dads so involved, but posting a message with such high statistics on complete recovery is so very very wrong and gives so many of these parents false hope. There are some who say total recovery is possible, but that is far from 40%. Complete recovery is so very, very rare and we all need to accept and try the best for our children. All of us have started and are implementing this diet with the hopes of improving our children in so many areas and getting them going on a healthy track, and many many of us use or have used ABA. ABA is 1 part of why LJ is where he is today. He started ABA at 22 months old and he is 6 and 1/2 years old now - reads, started printing, is verbal, etc., but my son will always be autistic, and I love him and will not be hurt and disappointed at what he will achieve, cause I know his life is being lived to the fullest, - complete recovery , NO a wonderful life and a willingness to learn, YES. PS, I am not jumping on you. You may have read that somewhere, I just don't want some of these parents who are knew to the autism DX thing think they can go out, get some ABA and bingo!!! on LOng Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
