Guest guest
Hi J, I'm glad you let us know about your surgery and I will definitely send you positive thoughts. I think part of Graves' is learning to ask for help for ourselves (often hard for people who are glad to help others). Some years ago a study at U of Texas found that prayer even helped bean sprouts grow better so I'm sure it helps the rest of us. My sister had sinus surgery at age 45 and bounced back easily from it. She said the pain was minimal and it was far easier than having her gall bladder out. She also had good results from it. I've had the sinus pain that makes your teeth ache and I can really sympathize--it's agony, like the worst toothache except it moves from tooth to tooth. It may help for you to think of your surgery as the end of that pain, which should be a great improvement! Best wishes, B.
