Guest guest
* , Someone posted on here not too long ago that anytime we seem to question actions and eating habits to ask ourselves if we would be questioning these same things if it were a " normal developing " child doing these same things. So I repeat this to myself when I question something - yes, I feel that paronoia at times too. I'm glad you're sticking with the diet and it was good to hear about Josh's progress and the happy huggy moments you two share. Wish I knew some answers. I will say LJ goes through his wants of certain items at times, but I just assumed he's developing his own style of eating habits (sort of like when I sit down to eat 4 pastelles at once (its a Spanish food I am hooked on that I eat when LJ isn't around) on Long Island New York * On Wed, 23 May 2001 15:20:15 EDT RT2@... writes: > . Not yet, I've been considering giving it to him but am still reading up. We've only tried one other supplement,SNT, not long ago and quit because it made him vomit. I'm not sure if we should try again to see if it was just a fluke (I got the stomach flu a few days after that so maybe he had it too at that point) or if it was a reaction to the SNT.. And I'm not sure if I should get Kirkland's DMG with B-12 or the DMG at the store with B-15.. any thoughts on that? > Anyway I want to tell you I took a look at your web page and your children > are beauiful! > Best of luck > Thank you! Guest guest
Hi We put DD (aged 4) on TMG just last week. Immediately, she started trying to say more, and is echoing much more consistently. It makes her a little more hyper, but we're prepared to put up with that for the extra speech. This week, we went from no consistent labels to four, (not often spontaneous), she tells us when she's done eating, and is trying out different ways of asking for things. I'm considering giving it another go on a weekend where we don't have anythign going on.. If he starts vomiting again, I don't want to be out and about. If he doesn't I'll say that round one was a fluke or the flu and hopefully we'll be able to continue with it.. We'll see.. Besides my son taken DMG he is also taken Super Nu Thera. Which has done wonders with eye contact and listening skills! He now comes when I call for him and is understanding short instructions...like Lets Go and Come here, Tata to mommy! Although he is still not talking(he say the odd word but not often) >I am thinking of starting him on a cranberry extract for yeast but Iam not >sure he needs it. How do you know? I have to do a little more reseaching myself. I live in Canada and if I ask the Dr to run all these test. Iam sure they would tell me I am a drain on Canadian Health Care!! I am in wait to see a new Ped. and plan on speaking to her about Diet, Vitamins ect. I hope she is not one of those Dr. who tell me there is " NO PROOF THAT THESE THINGS HELP " Then I will be inseach for a new one again. I guess we will both have to read more!
