Guest guest
No, I haven't done the peptide test. Haven't been willing to dole out the $99. I also get a lot of flack from my parents. My son is 15 months and has not been diagnosed, but has very high peptides and bahavior problems that of course my parents don't see, or even believe me when my husband and I tell them about it. They think that these tests results are made up just to prove theories. Like I'm doing all of this diet for my son " just for the fun of it " . It's a real blast, isn't it? Anyway, they think some other family member needs to be tested to prove that they're right, and I don't want to be the one. > I would think it means you DO NOT have IgA aintobodies to gluten -- you are > not celiac Have you evr done the peptide test? i was thinking > of running one on myself. > Question about celiac > > > > I have a celic question: > > > > About a month ago I was tested for Celiac Sprue. Guest guest
I'm back from the Dr., and she still thinks my problems are related to wheat even though my IgA was negative. She's sending me to the GI to have a scope and biopsy done (AAAAARRRRGGGG!!!) but I'll be glad to know for sure either way. In the meantime, should I load up on wheat so that it's an accurate result? If the scope shows that I don't have Celiac, she wants to send me to an allergist to see if I'm simply allergic to wheat. BTW, Jeneane, My problems started after a miscarriage and got worse after each child was born. I also had my gallbladder taken out after my oldest was born. Let's do this together and see it through, for our health! > Thanks for that reply I needed. > > I have a daughter, Sam, (PDD NOS) on the diet and she is doing > better.
