Hey Jen,

We were actually thinking of missing next year's convention, but after

attending again this year, we've decided that we just can't do it. No matter

what, we're going to find a way to go again next year. Between the

information, and the companionship of all the other parents/grandparents, it

is just an invaluable experience!

I do have to say that I got much more out of the convention this year.

Having been there before, I knew what to expect, and was prepared for the

mayhem that ensues. It was more overwhelming than I thought last year, and I

went home feeling like I hadn't made all the connections that I had wanted

too. I still feel that way to some extent this year, but there are only 3

days to do all that you want, to meet everyone that you mean to, and for the

most part I did.

As for the adnoids question. I would think that the smallness of the back of

the throat, coupled with enlarged adnoids, could definitely cause problems.

And I'm sure that there have been previous postings on the subject. We

haven't had to deal with problems with yet, so I'm not as " up " on

the subject as I could be. You could try going into the archives, and using

the word " adnoid " to see what you could find.

Hope this helps!

Hey Pat,

Once again many thanks. I see that you mentioned

about being able to be prepared for this year's

convention as opposed to last year's convention. Any

tips please pass along. I would love to be prepared

next year when the time comes so that I get the most

out of the convention as I can.

I didn't know I could check an archive for past

subjects. Thanks, I'm going to check into that.

Do you live in Philly? I'm in NJ (northerin NJ) about

2 hours from Philly and Jodi Z lives like 15-20

minutes from me and has booked the Madison Community

Center for October 16 to have a gathering like they

did in MA. Hopefully if you are that close you can

make it. I would love to meet you and .

Thanks for all you help. By they way do you know how

I can get my hands on a weight for height chart?

,

My now almost 4 1/2 year old RSS son had the tonsils, adnoids

etc. In June 2003 he had part of his tonsils and adenoids removed

along with tubes placed in his ears. This is not unusual.

Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 4 year old twins
