Guest guest
Hi , Most weight loss pills (stimulant types) can't be used in hyperT since they worsen hyper symptoms. But on the right dose of carbimazole, your appetite should return to normal. Appetite is generally increased in hyperT. If your appetite is still up and carbimazole has slowed your metabolism down, you can gain a few pounds. But as soon as your levels return to normal, and you're on a maintainence dose of carb (2.5-10.0 mg daily), you should see improvement. Correcting nutrient deficiencies with a nutrient-rich diet and supplements will also help stop food cravings. take care, elaine

Guest guest
Hi : I gained a good part of my 35lbs at the start, I was downing 10 candy bars and 12 cokes a day, just couldn't stop, felt like an insatiable need to feed the hyperness. If you can, try to go for lower calorie stuff when you snack, so that you can keep the weight gain to a minimum, and drink a ton of water. Once everything calmed down, my appetite was not so crazy, but when hyper, I always craved an extraordinary amount of cake, and often ordered double entrees at meals. One silly endo told me to eat only 900 calories a day - it was impossible and also bad for me to try it. I found I could not really diet, but tried to keep food around that was less caloric to minimize the damage. The weight started coming off a couple of years later when I was going into remission. Good luck. > Hey guys and gals, i have a problem, i cant stop > eating!!!!!
