I had same problem and still do. I give him homemade cookies and

Nature's Path (yessss!!!! I finally found a brand of cornflakes that

tastes like Kellogg's!!!)corn flakes. But this is what I've always

done: give him a choice of three different items in front of him (of

your choice, but that you think he may like it) and stick to it for a

few days until he realizes that " these are the choices, can you at

least taste them? " . If he doesn't like them and " pitch a fit " , you

may have to just let him-as long as you can handle and it doesn't get

outrageus " :-) Kids always make up for their food on the next meal

anyway :-)

One thing I would't do though, is change to something that he

never ate in the first place (like the bagels you mentioned) that has

gluten in it, and then you'll have to have him give it up again

anyway when you take out gluten; because that is like giving a candy,

and then take it back, if you know what I mean. Why not find

something that is already gluten free, so he'll get use to the new

thing? You don't have to give up all gluten at once; but you can subs

for some gluten while you give up casein, if the items he use to eat

before is no longer acceptable-because not gfcf anyway-

Hope this helps.
