Guest guest
Hi, I know we have all been comparing stories re IUGR, 2 vessel cord etc. I would be happy to volunteer to put together a history survey. We could give the results to MAGIC. If anyone would be interested I could build this in excel and you would only have to click in a box with very little typing. Guest guest
Hi , I delivered Jordan at 40 weeks via C-section. I had a oligohydramnious - low amniotic fluid, hardly any fetal movement throughout the pregnancy, and I was told in passing by the sono tech that his abdominal circumference was small compared to the rest of body. Jordan was 5 lbs 18 inches at birth. He was a poor eater from day 1 and they just felt it was due to the fact that he was small. Now it comes to mind that one of the nurses was a bit upset that it took so long to feed him when she wanted me to have him in my room at night instead of in the nursery. If I think of anything else I'll let you know. mom to Jordan 3 1/2 y/o, 31 lbs 36.5 inches
Guest guest
I think this is a great idea..I would be intrested to see all of the info condensed on a spreadsheet so we could see what the common factors were! Mimi
Guest guest
Interesting data to compare... If someone is making a database of this info, I'd love to have it when complete! > movement - NONE > pregnancy weight gain, or loss? - GAIN 15 LBS. > Cords/ how many vessels? 2 vs 3, scrauny/thin etc. - VERY THIN & FRAGILE > placentas small? little rips? to the lab/pathology?etc. - NORMAL PATHOLOGY AT LAB > ultrasounds? TOO MANY TO COUNT FROM 18-28 WEEKS (HAD 3 PER WEEK AT END) > age in weeks/gestational age? 28 WEEKS, 3 DAYS > low water/oligohydramnios - OLIGOHYDRAMNIOS > C/Sections vs normal vaginal births - C-SECTION >Non-stress tests? How often? etc. 3 TIMES PER WEEK IN LAST 2 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY > ON BEDREST & STEROID INJECTIONS FROM WEEK 26 TO DELIVERY > birth weights - 15 OUNCES > length- 11 INCHES Kim C.
