Guest guest
As far as my pregnancy with Storm, I gained only about one pound the entire pregnancy. (Even with my daughter who was 9lbs.2oz, I only gained 16 pounds!) At 25 weeks the doctor suspected he was smaller than he should be and ordered a second ultra sound. At 30 weeks (their time) his head measured 30 weeks and his body measured 25 weeks, and we were sent to the specialist. I had to go every week until he was born at " 38 weeks " My due dates were changed by about 3 weeks, (which means I wasn't pregnant when I took my first pregnancy test according to the doctors) I think my original dates were right which put Storm born actually 2 days over due rather than 2.5 weeks early. He weighed only 4pounds 5 ounces, and was 16.5 inches long, and to the doctors suprise he was fully formed and ready for life outside the womb. They had doctors on standby incase his lungs didn't function properly. His only problem at birth was his low blood sugar and lack of desire to eat. (Oh and he was tongue tied also) Where the tip of the tongue is connected just behind the bottom gums. They clipped it in hopes that he would eat better. (didn't work! lol) As I said before, the cord was a 3 vessel cord, but was very small and short. All tests came back normal. Well, that is a bit of our story. Blessings to you all, Carmen, mom to Paisley 11.5 going on 21 and Storm 9 on the 28th of this month. still 51 pounds and about 48 inches
