Hi ,

Since your FT3 is still high based on your other post, I don't think you're

close to remission yet. It would be good to have a TSI to see where you are and

to gauge if your 100 mg is enough to reduce your FT3 level right now. Best,

Elaine

Hi :

I'm in remission, and have been thinking about a TSI test just out of

curiosity. Also out of curiosity, I wonder why you want to have the

test done again. I'm kind of assuming the antibodies are still

there, but thought I'd like to know the level. The only time I've

asked for a TSI was shortly after diagnosis, and that was basically

academic.

Hi ,

I was deemed to have been in remission until this past September. My thyroid

levels were normal and I was not on medication. But I thought to truly be in

remission that would mean to have a normal TSI test result. My TSI hasn't

been done in a long time and now I am heading into hyper again. Funny, I

don't feel hyper but my labs say otherwise. Also, my eyes have been feeling

very scratchy so I was just curious what a TSI result would look like right

now.

in MA, USA

Diagnosed w/Graves, March 1997

Glad I've refused RAI Treatment and Surgery!!!

On lose dose of PTU (2 50 mg. per day)

(was in remission for three years 2000-2003)

Thanks . I'd be interested in knowing how the test turns out for

you. I assumed that we'd still have vestiges of the antibody, but

maybe not . . .
