Stopping meds for a sore throat?

Hi Barb,

My endocrinologist, who is very conscientious, never suggested I stop my ATD

because of a sore throat. She did say to get a CBC immediately for any sore

throat or fever, which I did 6 or 8 times over the first few months (sore throat

or just massively swollen glands, which did have the endo puzzled). One of my

endo's partners told me he only has the CBC done for a fever, but it was a

Saturday when I spoke to him--he was on call--so that may have contributed! I do

suspect that my endo would have called me and told me to stop my ATD immediately

if my white count had ever dropped.
