Guest guest
Hi As far as Hannah is concerned I am just trying to get anything down her that I can- I have been feeding her those yogurt tubes that are frozen-she thinks she is eating popsicles. As far as Braxton is concerned... I think he is having seizures because he is doing these really bizarre movements where his hands and arms are curled inward and tight and is making sharp jerky movements where his arms go straight out and then up and then towards his chest again. This happens in the evening when he is really tired and especially when he has to be still (like his car seat). And then he sits there for a short time with this spacy look on his face. We are supposed to video tape them before we can get a neurology consult. Who Knows?

Guest guest
hey alicia!! i hope you find out soon what is going on with Braxton and i will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!! as far as hannah's eating make her a milk shake for dessert at night before bedtime (this way she is sleeping and not using up all those cal.) use 1 cup whole milk(150 cal), 4 tbsp of half/half(80cal), hersheys syrup(chocolate or strawberry 2tbsp 100 cal), ice cream (flavor her choice the one i used today was 170cal for 1/2cup so i used 1 cup for 340cal. (hagendaz is the most at like 300cal per 1/2 cup)!!!), and then i added hot chocolate mix (was out of carnation instant breakfast mix but still was 150cal and tasted no different)!! this adds up to a 820cal shake!!!! i made him one this morning for granted he only drank half of it but thats 410cal!!! just an idea for you!! i got your message on the phone the other day too and will try you back next week, ok!!! take care!! jodie c. > Hi > As far as Hannah is concerned I am just trying to get anything down her that > I can- > I have been feeding her those yogurt tubes that are frozen-she thinks she is > eating popsicles. Guest guest
They said I have to video tape them because they will not see us without a docemented episode. Doesn't that sound stupid? Maybe they can't just go by what people say? I don't know.. My camcorder is broken and I am trying to find someone that will loan me one and have yet to have any success. UGH- How frustrating! Guest guest
I just told Liam's ped that I felt he was having seizures and they ordered an EEG.. The EEG came up that he was having seizures so we got a consult with the Nureo...See if your ped will order the EEG.. I have a yahoo group for toddlers with Epilepsy.. You are welcome to join it and ask questions.... Mom to Liam (3 1/2 years old 34 3/4 " 27 lbs SGA / possible RSS, Hypothyriod, Epilepsy.) Guest guest
Another thing people have done, if you don't want to wait take him to the ER the next time it happens. Even though it will be done by the time you get there, they may do an EEG right away... Mom to Liam (3 1/2 years old 34 3/4 " 27 lbs SGA / possible RSS, Hypothyriod, Epilepsy.) Guest guest
an EEG was done on him about 5 months ago. He showed only very occassional movements at that time that were similar. The doctor is going to order an EEG for us. That should come be coming up soon. I like the ER idea I will remeber that.
