Jodi,

I am *so* excited to hear the great news about Max!!! What a

compliment from Dr. H., who we all know calls 'em as she sees 'em.

Max ( & your whole family) has had WAY more to deal with these past

few years than anyone should have to go through. For Max to be

adjusting to a new school year and dealing with the loss of a loved

one, all at the same time is a miracle, and an encouragement you

needed. I pray that this is his first step on that road to

independence that is so often taken for granted (and that I wonder,

will it happen for Charissa some day?!?)

Hip-hip-hurray for good news!

in Alaska, who wishes she could come to the gathering (which is

on Charissa's 20th birthday!)
