Guest guest
Excellent and congratulations on the promotion. Martial arts do emphasize attention, focus, discipline, etc. I will only get better! My two boys are in TaeKwonDo and it is such an accomplishment to get the belts, especially because you know they have to work so much harder than most participants to get to the same level. My oldest got stuck at orange belt. They had a joke that he would outgrow the belt before he promoted out of it (it was intended as encouragement). He missed a few promotions because there was so much to keep up with. Finally (coinciding with some interventions) he promoted. Today he is brown, and in his 3rd year out of 4. He has so impressed the instructors that they comment to me regularly on his achievement. He assists in teaching the kid's class as well. When you hear something discouraging, let it slide in one ear and right out the other. Yea! Ian and his family. .
