This will be discussed in the House/Senate Conference Committee. Unlocking Autism folks have asked interested parents to call the following folks and ask them to consider Sen Torrecelli amendment to help parents w/ this children. We need to call 05/18 and 05/21. Dennis Hasert, IL Willaim , CA Philip Crane, IL Armey, TX, Clay Shaw, Fl johnson, CT Plus per American Autism Soc. some Senators are trying to add amendments that would be detrimental for our kids to the IDEA legislation. This is contridictory to Bush's stance of leaving no child behind. Please call Sen. Jeff Sessions (AL-R) and Sen. Bond (MO-R) at and Sen Bond press secretary at . Their proposed legislation would allow our kids to stay segregated if they have behavior or disclipine problems.
