Guest guest
Aldyth....Hi there stranger ! Did you see my reply to Lori yesterday ? Don't make me type it all again. :-D And Terry left a great message this morning too ! Beyond the standard scientific stuff, my personal question to both you and Lori will be the same. WHEN do you feel the best... right before your dose is due, or shortly after you take it ? Lori only feels better after she takes her medicine. That tells ME, it is still doing the job, and she still needs it. When I was reducing my dose, I still could tell I needed the meds by that tiny hyper feeling start back up. I would THEN go and check the clock. Lo and behold, it was always within the hour to half hour of the time I WAS due for a dose. Then I continued on, and slowly made my dose smaller. Then I watched the TREND over several weeks before changing to a higher or lower dose. And then stuck there for a while, all the time sticking with my eight hour schedule of meds. I was unable to get my TSI, and I took an extra 6 months going down off my meds because of it. I had to depend on being ultra sensitive to my NEEDS. From my observations on these lists and boards, not everyone is skilled in this ability to FEEL intensely. Though logic tells ME, it should be able to be done if the desire is there. Hope my logic is sound. Does this make sense ? It feels awkward to try to put into letters typed on a screen. The very LAST thing you want to do is allow another person and a calendar determine your physical and emotional well being. Every cell in your body is under control of that dang thyroid ! ! ! Hope you and yours have been well and happy. ( if not... this is a real bad time to try to go off the meds ya know ... it would all become too confusing as to cause and affect ) Seems like only the other day I found you as a brand new lost soul out there in cyperland. ( grin ) Your still a newbie to me kiddo. Gosh how you kids grow. :-) -Pam L- feeling old now
