Guest guest
Great job on the selenium links. I have not had time to get through all of that yet. BUT...I happened onto this earlier and saved it to send to you. It is the first one I have seen that speaks of DIFFERENT rashes. The thing is...I have not gone through the rest of the site... so read with care and see if any of the info is correct. http://www.hotsprings.freeserve.co.uk/THIOAM.HTM Only trouble with remission is a person can then feel good enough to put too much on their plate. I 'know' if I just keep moving I CAN keep all these balls in the air...I just know it. :-) Fortunately I now know enough to not REALLY over do it as I have in the past But computer time is short. It is SUMMER...and a beautiful one at that. I am making time on my early evening break to putter about the yard and am having a great time spending more time with my neighbors . The things we loose when we do not feel well. And while we are ill, we do not realize we are missing it. And the lessons learned. Oh my.... True compassion is the first one that comes to mind. Keep up the good work, -Pam L -
Guest guest
Hey Pam L, Thanks for the link to the article with rash info. Three docs (GP, derm, and endo) say mine is unrelated to the PTU, so that's good. I expect to be decreasing the PTU soon (currently on 150), so liver should be spared (slightly elevated ALT & AST) -- know anything about milk thistle? Is it all right to take milk thistle while on ATDs? Glad you are enjoying the summer! I have to start doing that... Anyway, I thought I'd pass along the link to this site with loads of info (perhaps to peruse on a rainy day). The page on selenium is at: http://www.acu-cell.com/ses.html I can't vouch for the source, but looks like it was done by a Doc of Acupuncture. As for supplements, I'm not big on them, but would prefer to get nutrients from foods (esp. whole foods) or natural sources when possible. This stuff can get complicated! Using common sense helps. Moderation and balance. At 04:15 AM 7/18/2003, you wrote: >Great job on the selenium links. I have not had time to get through all of >that yet.
