Guest guest
Have any of you experienced the Graves symptom of your nails lifting from the nail bed? I just happened across it in a symptom list I read somewhere-maybe here or another web site. I had wondered what the heck was going on with a coupla nails quite some time before being diagnosed with Graves, but had chalked it up to some type of injury. This is happening on my little finger and ring finger, down to maybe 1/8 inch or better from where it used to be. If anyone is familiar with this, what can be done about it? You may recall that right now I'm not being treated with anything other than beta blockers. I have been using the herbal remedies (bugleweed/motherwort/lemon balm) for about 3 months now. Unfortunately my T4 levels are still rising, about 4.something. I will post my most recent results later when I have a chance, but any advice about the nail lifting thing would be appreciated! Thanks, Chris
