Guest guest
Hi Barb, I cant believe that indos dont understand this the way all you girls here seem to. I mean we're only lay people with very minimal medical backgrounds if any , and we're figuring this stuff out more and more every day. Grrrr I guess you really do have to walk a mile in someones shoes to know exactly how they feel. I think it's pathetic and sad, that they (endo's)dont have any clue. (not all I know, but alot of them) I cant say I know what each and every pt I have is feeling, but I do believe thier concerns are legit and valid, and they need at least some sort of reassurance that I believe them.Okkkk I feel a tangint and I know we all feel pretty much similar thoughts LOLOL,so I'll quit while I'm ahead. My dosing... OK I take 1/2 a tablet in the am, then a 1/2 tablet in the afternnon and a whole tablet before bed. I just have such a hard tme splitting that 2nd tablet into 3 and it was making me too upset trying that I just take the whole one at night. That is my 100mg. What I tryed to do was only take 1/2 tablet at night also. So if my math is correct, I was lowerng my dose by only 25mg. Now.... I cant remember if I got sick before of after lowering my dose. I do know that a few days into my sore throat ( I keep bringing that up dont I????sorry it's just pure evil torchure for me.) Ok sooo then I was sick at the same time I started to feel sweety/hot/jittery/ out of breath then......I started academy again/then I started getting weepy thenI said the heck with this I need to up my dose to the orrigan way I was taking it. Now is it coincident I feel better or my levels? The truth is I didnt get labs during all of this. I realy cant miss timeoff from work right now, and it was my last weekend to rest and the weather has been so horrendouse and I really really couldnt leave the house. I probably would have driven myself into a ditch. I really needed 2 days to calm down. Soooo back to square 1 again I think unless I try and lower the dose now that I'm not sick and I " mm feeling pretty good emotionally. Physically my fingers are swollen on my hand, and my back and hips are killing me but I think all this rain is just getting to me . I dont know, I guess I need advice from the graves gurus!! Any one with any suggestions are welcome. So Barb, that's my story and I guess you've been there too. I am glad you took the time here, it realy makes a difference to someone who needs that little bit of " someone does her me " . So thanks Barb and Aydth!! Guest guest
Hi Luci - I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! Getting your labs done when you get a chance should give you a better idea of what's going on. It sounds like you've got a couple new things going on, and maybe the " stress " of that is contributing to how you feel. I have come to recognize now after I've been diagnosed with Graves', that things out of my usual routine can make me feel hyper, even if I'm not. It's stupid really, even just little things can make me jittery and make my heart feel like it's racing, even though sometimes it isn't. It could be something simple like having to return a phone call I'm dreading, or going to a new doctor for the first time, getting ready to go on vacation even! Especially if it's something I have to be on time for...I feel rushed and then I start feeling hyper symptoms. It's all just stress, no matter how small, and that seems to make me feel like I have hyper symptoms - anything from shaky hands to pounding heart, etc. The good thing is that now that I _know_ this is what's happening, I have been able to control it somewhat. Most cases I know I am not hyper, so there is no reason I should be feeling hyper symptoms, and that it's just anxiety or stress. So if I know that's the case, I can usually calm myself down by breathing deeper or slower and just recognizing consciously that it's just stress that's causing these feelings. Usually that's enough to make it stop or at least abate. So I think it's possible that some of what you're feeling could just be from the new stress of getting up early, driving, etc. I wonder do others feel similarly during stressful moments? Or are we just weird? It also sounds like you are still hypo for you. I get the swollen fingers and hip pain when I'm hypo for me, too. Hopefully some new labs will shed some light on this. Hope you keep feeling better! Re: Hi I'm feeling better - To Luci > Hi Barb, > I cant believe that indos dont understand this the way all you > girls here seem to.
