Guest guest
I had called 's pediatrician Wednesday because it seemed that he has either pnemonia or bronchitis. His Dr. didn't have time to see him and was going to be out of the office Thursday and Friday, so they told us to use Dimetapp DM and Albuterol treatments. He's been especially wild lately, so I called Whitehall-Robins to check on the Dimetapp DM. They verified that it is milk-free and gluten free. Does anyone know anything about the breathing treatments? That is something that has to take quite often, and I never thought to check to see if Albuterol is GFCF. ===== Visit www.open-invitation.net/andrea to shop the newest product line from House of Lloyd! __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I wanted to let you know that my son also reacts to Dimetap DM. I don't know 'why', but he gets very, very crabby on it. > I had called 's pediatrician Wednesday because > it seemed that he has either pnemonia or bronchitis. > His Dr. didn't have time to see him and was going to > be out of the office Thursday and Friday, so they told > us to use Dimetapp DM and Albuterol treatments. So dimetapp is GFCF!!Great! How about the " dimetapp " that the clinics give out, but are their own 'brand'(like dimetapp)? ie. " Bromanate Elixir " from Alpharma? Do I need to call it in? And (I know this was discussed recently, forgive me) What kind of antibiotics are safe, or Tylenol or Motrin? only takes Tylenol suppositories [he doesn't like swallowing nasty stuff, so I put it " up " and he lets me-my mom did it to me when I was a kid too, and no problem )] And what else is safe of the OTC meds? Thanks a zillion!!! Guest guest
For my son he cant take any of the medication that have the color dyes in them. It just makes him go crazy. I have been able to buy the dye free and they have been working great! The Tussin makes a clear cough and cold medicine. When my son gets a cold I have just increased his Pro-Bio gold from 1 a day to 2 a day and that for him has kepts infections away. We still has the cold for a week but without it getting worse. Have a great day. Terri in TN 5 yrs old Austim GFCF since Nov. 2000 > > > been especially wild lately, so I called > > Whitehall-Robins to check on the Dimetapp DM. Guest guest
I do not know if the albuteral is gfcf but I do know that breathing treatments make me extremely hyper myself. I have asthma and have a nebulizer and when I have to use it the medication makes me get the shakes and get very hyper and grumpy.
