Leah-

Those are some AWESOME feeding tips. It sounds like it makes mealtime a LOT less

frustrating for both of you. In my house, it was a battle of the wills ( " You're

not leaving this

table until your plate is empty " ) and to this day, I'm sure my " control freak "

nature is due,

in part, to my mother's attempts to force me to eat (among other things...but I

digress

<wink>).

By the way, at 38 years old, I STILL have a death grip on my pencil and STILL

hold it WAY

too close to the tip (grin). I don't like big and heavy pens because they're too

big and

heavy (duh!) but even with regular writing implements, I hold onto it like

there's no

tomorrow. I've tried to loosen up but I feel like I have better control (there's

that " control "

thing again) if I hold tight.
